2007 gets off to a really great musical start with two new kick-ass albums: Amy Stolzenbach's debut, On and On, along with The Shins' latest, Wincing The Night Away.
Most people are familar with The Shins so I will spare you the gushy details. But unless you're from Seattle and/or a complete music snob, you might not know about Amy Stolzenbach. She's a singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalis
-producer-engineer. (She obviously shares musical DNA with Aimee Mann and Sufjan Stevens)
She's also famous for being Angus Young (she's the founder of the all-female AC/DC tribute band Hell’s Belles) Anyway, her long awaited new album is finally out. (Which is more Aimee and Sufjan than it is Angus and Bon Scott) Make sure you take it for a spin. Click here to pre-order it.
