Why Jim Butcher Is a Super Ninja Bad-Ass All-Around Good Guy

Aside from having crafted one of the best wizard series ever (Yeah, you heard me Harry Potta), Jim Butcher is also probably one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I am currently talking to a couple of studios about adapting Lord Vishnu's Love Handles into a TV series. So since I am a complete virgin at making such deals, I contacted an author who isn't, Jim Butcher.  And to my surprise, Jim not only got right back to me, he gave me all sorts of great advice about navigating the byzantine world of Hollywood TV deals.

Since book-to-TV deals are so rare, it's really hard to know what to expect or to find people to tell you what to ask for, but Jim, whose books were adapted into the wonderful Dresden Files TV Series on SciFi, gave me the lowdown. I cannot begin to thank him enough. His sage words were invaluable.
